Paterson's Arab Community - Awni Abu-Hadba, Deputy mayor of Paterson, smokes apple flavored tobacco out of a water pipe, known as an argeelah or hookah, as he talks business and drinks coffee inside the Paradise Cafe' on Main St. He is considered the mukhtar, the village chief, of the South Paterson Arab community.
