The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn took a risk in staging an original musical version of the movie Harold & Maude in an effort to bring new patrons to their regional theater. The musical is the story of a suicudal 20-year-old young man befriends a nearly 80-year old woman. Their relationship develops romantically, but she eventually ends her own life on her 80th birthday.
