Michael Mills is recovering from injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device was detonated and destroyed the vehicle he commanded while serving in Iraq attached to the 50th MSB of the NJ National Guard. He has returned home after extensive treatment and therapy to his wife and children at home in Minnesota. Sgt. Mills is one of thousands of US soldiers returning home with serious injuries.-Here his ten year old daughter Kenzie hugs him in the kitchen of their home in Freeport, MN. near the end of the day.
