10/21/11 - Kimberly Nangle, of Tyco Animal Control Services, works to free a hawk from a net. The hawk was caught in a net in the backyard of a home on Mohegan Trail in Saddle River. The net was up to stop golf balls as part of a backyard golf green. The hawk was approximately 30 feet off the ground. Franklin Lakes Firefighter Mike Fahy cut a piece of the net out with the hawk still attached, he brought it down and Kimberly Nangle, of Tyco Animal Control Services, freed the hawk from the net and it flew away. Nangle said the hawk did not appear to be injured at all.
