NPPA And NPPF Announce Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund For Photojournalists.
The National Press Photographers Association, along with the National Press Photographers Foundation, Thursday announced a joint effort to help photojournalists displaced or affected by Hurricane Katrina. [more]
Congratulations to former NJPPA treasurer Veronica Yankowski and husband Greg on the birth of their daughter. Anastasia Emma Pavliv was born on July 21, 2005, weighing in at 6lb 13oz. Mom and baby are happy and healthy.
Announcing the Baxter Scholarship

Following a long visit with family in Brazil, Ellie Markovitch will be moving to Paris with her husband. Ellie has been a staffer at the Herald News for four years, and has served as NJPPA clips co-chair for the past two years.
Chris Rossi has departed his staff position at the Gloucester County Times to pursue freelance work in Washington DC.
Best wishes to Chris and Ellie.
