Rosalie Helferich, of Clifton, has been knitting baby hats, blankets, and lap robes for elderly for more than 20 years. About once a month, she and her husband Frank, who is shown testing out a pink baby girl hat, drive to Passaic Beth Israel or St Mary's hospital to make their donations. They both belong to a charity group named New OutLook Pioneers, which has donated more than 55,000 volunteer hours to Passaic Beth Israel hospital alone.
